A time approximately forty years in the future, not futuristic and facing increasing national stress. One political party has been in power for nearly forty years. Freedom of speech has become heavily structured and limited. The nation is facing extremely serious budget difficulties as several major global powers are creating demand for immediate payment or transmission of control of several vital American outposts, threatening national security.
Global posture has become ridden with constant international economic crises. One secret assemblage, referred only as “the group” is determined to help the people regain voter and representative power through the ballot box. Another association of unknown membership has sent in a crew of individuals. bent on staging a violent attack on one form of government. a violent act that will supposedly awake the public anger at the existing system.
A special squad from the local Washington DC police department are seeking to determine the identity of the group and their target. Oddly they receive assistance from an unexpected source. However diligent, even as they join with “The Group”, success will depend on one factor, the target.
